Sending condolences to Tony's family and friends at the sad passing of this lovely kind man. I had the good fortune to meet him twice at various conference, the second one being at the East Anglia UFO Group of which he asked me to speak at. He looked after my wife and I, and we enjoyed everyone's company. Thank you Tony for all you did.

I had known Tony for about 7 years, as I use to clean for him. Over the years we became friends. He was always so thoughtful and caring even though he was in pain. I miss seeing you on a Wednesday afternoon, but you are at peace now xx

I first met Tony about 10 years ago when he attended a UFO Truth Magazine conference in Holmfirth. We became firm friends and I was a guest speaker at his UFO group meetings on two occasions. He was a strong supporter of the UFO Truth Magazine and also gave a donation to ICER (International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research). Tony was a genuine, caring person and he will be much missed by those within the UK UFO community.

I first met Tony at a series of roadshows we were doing in the late 90s. Some time later he asked me if I was interested in becoming X-CEL FM's programme controller having had extensive experience. This I gladly accepted and it was Tony who recruited most of the on-air staff. It was his foresight that made the station a success. It was the TEAM that made the station the success it was. Tony you may have gone but you live on in the next best place - our memories. You were a good friend to all of us - as well as a boss. RIP mate with every respect. Alan Thompson

Tony was a very dear friend to both of us, and his passing has left an empty space in our hearts. We’ll miss his visits to Haverhill, and we’ll especially miss his quirky ways that always brought a smile to our faces. His kindness filled our lives with joy, and though he’s no longer with us, the memories we shared will remain close to our hearts.

What a privilege it was to have known Tony. He was always interesting to talk to, warm, friendly and generous-spirited, despite the trials with his health that beset him in recent times. Last night, I watched him once again recounting his 1973 experience in his TV interview and his obvious sincerity shone through. It was that experience that set him on his lifelong quest, and it was impossible for those who knew him not to admire his commitment and dedication to the pursuit of answers. We're going to miss you, Tony.

I feel so lucky to have had the chance to work with Tony, he was one of the kindest, most thoughtful and most genuine people I’ve ever worked with. Really enjoyed his company and enjoyed hanging out and chatting over a chip supper after a days filming. You will never be forgotten Tony.
